The residence was designed to make the most of a landscape setting with a bushland outlook.

On a sloping site we have designed a large single level floor plate that provides a flexible easy living arrangement with all bedrooms and living areas on one level, providing good solar orientation to the north while being designed to maximize privacy.

Our design approach developed over many years understands the importance of light and providing flexible planned spaces that allow the owner to decorate and furnish the plan in a variety of ways set against a limited palate of natural background colours and materials that will complement a range of interior layouts.

The residence provides a double lock up garage at street level with internal stair access to the main living level. There is a flexible studio space behind the garage that could be used in a variety of ways and includes a separate toilet and sink.

The main pedestrian entry starts at street level under a feature timber and glass entry pergola that leads to an extensively landscaped courtyard with stair access to the main entry. This in turn leads to further landscaped areas, decks and a lap pool all linking through to the natural bushland.
