Laguna Real Estate has been named as a finalist in the REB Awards for three categories: Major Independent of the Year – 4 or more offices, Operations Manager of the Year (Eric Sutherland) and Principal of the Year – Regional (Olivier Miller).
The Real Estate Business Awards showcases the industry’s most prestigious accolades recognising excellence across the entire real estate industry. The awards pinpoint professional development and innovation, showcasing both the individuals and firms which are leading the way in the industry.
Award recipients represent a true cross section of the real estate industry, acknowledging the contributions of the profession’s most senior ranks through to its rising stars.
Eric Sutherland, made the move to Real Estate just three and half years ago, coming from a background in finance and hospitality. Stepping up to the dual role of Accounts/HR Manager of Laguna, Eric’s eagerness to learn the industry while bringing his own experiences to the company have proved successful. He said, “I was ecstatic to hear I was a finalist in such elite company. Winning this award would be an incredible honour and vindicate my career change in to real estate.”
The finalist list, which was announced over several weeks beginning on 1 June 2020, features over 287 high-achieving real estate professionals across 33 submission-based categories.
REB editor Emma Ryan said the finalists are among the best of the best in real estate.

Olivier Miller, Principal at Laguna Real Estate based in Noosa, said that she was humbled to be recognised and proud of her team being named as finalists in the REB Awards 2020.
Olivier has had the honor of being Principal of Laguna Real Estate for the past 20 years and has been instrumental in its growth in the Noosa area over the last decade. Her strong history of selling real estate for 38 years has allowed her to witness many changes in the market. Being a Principal means being able to continually adapt and evolve to meet these changes, while providing an environment and culture to help grow the team to achieve their own goals.
