Laguna Real Estate strives to be the leading real estate agency on the Sunshine Coast supporting locals through sponsorships and donations. We believe in the importance of giving back to the community that gives to us.
At the start of 2022, Olivier Miller the Principal at Laguna Real Estate made the decision to be involved with many local charities and events. Some of these included The Noosa Come Together Festival, The Noosa Beach Classic Car Show, The Wash and Wax Car Show and The Noosa Prostate Association.
Laguna’s sponsorship to these events and charities involved financial contributions, marketing the events, giving away merchandise, running competitions and activities for the community to enjoy. The staff at Laguna also give of their free time to ensure the success of these events.
We are pleased to announce that this year saw the largest attendances ever recorded for The Noosa Come Together and The Noosa Beach Classic Car Show. In addition, the Noosa Prostate Association had their most successful Auction Awareness Lunch raising $230,000!
NOOSA COME TOGETHER MUSIC FESTIVAL
The Noosa Come Together is an all-day festival where musical artists get the opportunity to perform, there are rides and activities for the children and food stalls for the locals to enjoy. Money raised from this event goes towards the disabled within the community and helping to fund the Sailability Program. This year’s event resulted in nearly $20,000 being raised for those in need!
THE NOOSA BEACH CLASSIC CAR SHOW
The Noosa Beach Classic Car Show eventually went ahead with some delays due to the La Nina event. The sun came out on the day of the show, and we are proud to announce that tickets were sold out on the day with an additional 300 tickets needed to be created for record crowds attending the event.
THE NOOSA PROSTATE ASSOCIATION
Laguna has been sponsoring the Noosa Prostate Association since its inception in 2018. This year saw over 300 guests attending their Awareness Lunch which resulted in more than $230,000 being raised on the day. Money raised goes towards research, implementing awareness and education programmes whilst also supporting effected families. This has resulted in over $480,000 being raised over three events to date!
In recognition of Laguna’s contributions towards the community Laguna has recently been named Finalists in the category of “Contribution to the Community” for the 2022 REIQ Awards For Excellence. These Awards celebrate the very best that the Queensland Real Estate industry has to offer. Laguna is up against 8 other Finalists and we look forward to hearing the winner being announced on the 29th of October!
